Project Vision, Inc. is a non-profit vision care organization providing consultation, training and support to communities with limited access to eye care in Israel and throughout the world. Additionally, Project Vision is working with national health agencies to develop comprehensive health promotion programs in these communities, with the goal of improving their overall public health systems.

Since its inception in the United States in 1991, Project Vision, Inc. has:

* provided consulting, training and support to local ophthalmologists and other    health care providers; and

* worked to enhance local medical infrastructures within these communities,   
  enabling them to serve more of their population in need of vision care.   

 Through its programs, PVI has already reached several hundred thousand patients.
